Art studies during the 1950's included work at the Chicago Art Institute, Southern Illinois University and a scholarship at The University of Illinois.

Victor Pella worked closely with many other famous artists. For example, in the late 60's he did a personal sculpture for Carl Sandburg

In the mid 1970's, he formed The Moon Art Gallery. And in the mid-1980's, Susie Scott, a centerfold and cover girl of the 60's took over operations, naming it The Old Vic Art Gallery. The Gallery is still in operation today at it's location in downtown Champaign, Illinois.
